Hi, I'm Lauren Wilson MD, and I believe when the mind is healthy, the possibilities for life are truly infinite.

Meet Dr. Lauren Wilson
Board-Certified Psychiatrist | Focused on Whole-Person Mental Health
I’m a psychiatrist passionate about combining the rigor of modern medicine with evidence based psychotherapy and holistic approaches to help patients heal through collaborative care.
I'm also a parent after experiencing infertility. I understand the demands professionals face, especially those in healthcare. Through lived experience I can guide those with neurodivergence and eating disorders toward healing and self acceptance.
I am committed to creating a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and cared for. From our first session, my focus is on understanding your unique story and building a strong, collaborative partnership. Together, we’ll uncover your strengths, address challenges with compassion, and create a personalized plan that integrates evidence-based treatment with a whole-person approach.
My goal is not just to prescribe you a medication and send you on your way - it's to be a long-term, trusted partner in helping you achieve a happy and fulfilling life. I focus on holistic mental health, combining prescription medications, talk therapy, and integrative approaches like mind-body practices, and healthy lifestyle habits.
I received my B.S. at The University of Tulsa, my M.D. from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, and Residency Training in Psychiatry from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. I was granted board certification in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in 2020.
Following years of experience as a Medical Director at One Behavioral Health, a Houston based psychiatric group practice, I now provide personalized care through my solo private practice, ensuring flexibility, continuity, and direct access to your physician.
In addition to my private practice, I offer psychiatric consult liaison services at Memorial Hermann and treat patients with eating disorders at Monte Nido Houston Day Treatment partial hospitalization program. I also serve as a physician expert witness in mental health cases and have experience teaching medical students as a volunteer professor at the University of Houston College of Medicine.
